The non-profit Austin Creative Re-use collects materials from businesses, manufactures and individuals that might otherwise go to a landfill and redirects them to educators, artists and crafters. Austin Creative Re-use is working with the Austin Resource Recovery and AISD and is hoping to soon have an actual storefront sometime this year.
Austin Creative Re-use has a great deal of supplies that will be available at extremely low cost at a special sale tomorrow from 9AM-2PM at 6942 Ryan Dr., Austin, TX, 78757. Lots of tile, wood, jewlery stuff, ribbon, yarn, fabric, boxes, and many oddities.
