Play is Developmentally Important-Excellent Article!


Children's play is threatened, say experts who advise that kids—from toddlers to tweens—should be relearning how to play. It has been well documented that play, exploration, and fantasy feed development, but for a host of reasons, today's children do not engage in the sorts of developmentally important play that prior generations automatically did.
