The US Green Building Council Central Texas – Balcones Chapter (USGBC CT-B) plans and coordinates the Green School Symposium every year, with over 200 people in attendance! The 2012 Green School Symposium will return to Austin this year – and is to be held at AMD’s Lone Star Campus on THURSDAY, October 11, 2012. The theme for the conference is “Happier. Healthier. Smarter.”We will post updates on sessions, speakers, topics, and general information to our event blog: www.2012greenschoolsymposium.wordpress.com. If you attended any of our events in the past, you may notice a difference on the event schedule this year … as the event falls on a Thursday. Why Thursday, you may ask? Well, we want to bring more educators into the fold, and we have been informed that events held on Monday’s and Friday’s are difficult for teachers to schedule around.
Schools, PTAs and educators are urged to submit entries for presentations. CLICK HERE for the Submission Form. All submissions are DUE by FRIDAY JULY 20th.
